Remodeling Process From Start to Finish
Initial Consultation
Once you contact our team, we’ll schedule a free on-site consultation. The purpose of the consultation is to discuss your project goals, review the existing home to identify any obstacles, discuss any initial design ideas, and answer all of your questions. The consultation lays the groundwork for designing the space you envision.
Design Process
Once in a design contract, our team works hand in hand with our clients to ensure we are creating a space that is not only beautiful but functional.
The process starts with drawing the as-built and proposed layout for the client’s review and approval.
Once the plans have been approved by our clients, if required, our team will complete any structural engineering that might be required.
Once we have final plan with any required engineering, our design team will work to complete material take-offs, and meet vendors on site for quoting. At the same time, our clients will work with our design team to make all selections with our vendors so that we can obtain selection pricing.
Once all vendor quotes and selection prices are received, we will compile the data into a detailed scope of work with total project cost.
The design process ensures that, once complete, we have everything organized, ready to pull permits, and begin construction. This process allows clients to have as much information as possible before signing a construction contract.
Construction
The start date for construction will be based on the issuance of the building permits as well as the ETA of critical materials. This ensures that once we start a project, it can run as smoothly as possible.
The day before construction starts our team will come on-site to set containment to block off the work areas from the rest of the home as well as install floor protection.
At Blue Bison Construction, LLC, we utilize Buildertrend to schedule and manage our construction projects. As a client you will have access to a portal where you can follow along with the production schedule which is updated in real time.
